Place: Northumberland - Opinions

I took a trip to Northumberland to stay with some family, and felt it was an ideal time to get some serious research work done. I knew I wanted to focus on a particular aspect of the county, good or bad, but unsure of which area to research, I asked a few neighbours, family members and friends within the area a few questions to get a better understanding of the most renowned places in Northumberland. With this information, I could see which elements of Northumberland are most popular, in which I could study.

'What is good about Northumberland and Why?'

"We've got good beaches, but cold water though, the waters always cold!"

" We've got some beautiful countryside."

" There's plenty of castles to visit, I'm sure it has the most castles in the country."

"  Northumberland is historically renowned for coal pits and ship building. This is still evident today. "
